We have been waiting to write an update on the situation in Haiti until we knew more, but there is still much uncertainty. The number of positive Covid-19 cases continue to rise and schools remain closed. Our secondary school students have been meeting with a tutor so they will not fall behind. They are wearing masks and distancing as much as possible in the classroom. We remain in close contact with all of our families and are providing as much support as we can during this trying time. For everyone’s safety, we will not likely be able to visit our students again this year and will be relying on our F4H team in Haiti to get them ready for school to resume again. Our Haitian friends have shown us how to be resilient and we are confident that we can overcome the challenges we are all facing. We will continue to monitor progress and provide updates as we are able.
